I personally can say that the "hacks" to get IIS on WinXP Home DO NOT WORK!

Ive spent many many hours trying to get it to work when i first got a new computer about 3-4 years ago. I tried every little single hack i could find. I even formatted a few times and started fresh to make sure it wasnt some mistake i did. Nothing worked.

In the end it just makes it harder to upgrade to XP Pro unless you do a complete format.
