I have an ASP news database and want to be able to show a graphic saying NEW next to the new news items in a repeating region. I have tried a show if statement but it shows the icon on all news items. Please help.

You need to decide what 'new' actually is. If it's  based on date, then use an if statement to check whether the date of the news is within (for example) the last 3 days (use dateadd() with a neg. value to sub from now())
