Is ChiliAsp slow or can I use it with this forum? Some of the unix-asp components convert the whole ASP-code to perl and then run it. A very slow and error-friendly solution...

I don't think ChillASP fully supports all the ASP objects, at this stage.

So you can't set up an ASP-host without Micro$oft?

I didn't say that.

(I wouldn't blame them if they did though. They wrote ASP, why shouldn't they encourage people to use their servers.. thats business! I don't hear anyone saying "That damn company $ony. How dare they make me play their games on a Playstation only! Why shouldn't I be able to play them on Nintendo!" )

Anyway, as I said before, ASP code will run under ChilliASP however to my knowledge, I don't think it fully supports all the native ASP objects. Search their website or google and you'll quickly find an answer to your question.

Cheers,
Andrew
