Is there an easy but safe way to encrypt passwords in Access.  I am making a page for my website that requires a login.

the only way is to use a system like WWF that encrypted it one way.

are you wanting it to be one way encryption or 2 way.

i have a little not to secure 2 way encryption system that i use.

it has a Server Key1 (salt)

ServerKey 2 (salt)

then each record had a Clientsalt key


all details within the record are encrypted by ClientSalt Key + ServerKey1

as clientSalt key needs holding in the DB

before thats entered into the database thats encrypted using ServerKey1 + ServerKey2

serverKey2 is static key
