	I just noticed this thread, and did a google on the problem. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18047353/fix---on-iphone-ipad-ipod - Here is another suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have an iPad myself, so I'm unable to test it. You can apply it on div:hover and working on iphone. Here's the trick... add this to the element with :hover effect .mm { cursor: pointer }

	Thanks rune, unfortunately the fix does not work. The solution so far is either to rewrite the drop downs to use a different method that I have working, or do not use the block hover CSS for the drop downs that highlights the line when you move the mouse over it.

	This CSS bug in Safari that prevented the drop down menus from working appears to have been fixed in IOS 9.01 and drop down menus are now working again on the IPad. I have not tested on the IPhone as do not have an IPhone available to test with.
