I'm using the blnSentMail = sendMail() to auto-send emails, but when I test it, I get the "Permission denied error" that says

/send_mail_function.inc, line 100

I don't know why but I used response.write to display all the arguments of the function but everything seems fine.

Could someone tell me what the problem could be?

Thanks

This error can happen if you use CDONTS and the SMTP server dooesn't have permisison to write to the queue directory.

You need to give full permisison to everyone on the following directory on the server:-

C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue

Thanks, but still not working. Gave full NTFS control to Everyone for the directory, but nothing happens, just the same "Permission denied" error

I've just set the mailroot directory to "Full Control" by "Everyone" and now it works.

This will pose serious security concern, what should I do now?

Thanks
