i phone could be used by terrorist as an improvised explosion device (IED). We gave evidence that terrorist in Iraq tried establishing link with Apple for suspiciously large shipment of iPhones. Further development may lead to amateur dirty bomb by attaching DU warhead. Hence iPhone is regarded as threat to national security and placed under constrains of export control.

Let's talk about the non-political side of iphone, because if we start talking the political side then we have to mention that 50% of the suicide bombers who kill innocent Iraqis come from Saudi Arabia: Source.

I will ask DHS to put iPhone on list of item banned for export to Saudi Arabia.Some time ago we couldnt get some cisco hardware because it was supposedly on DHS list items banned for export to Saudi Arabia. Had to go the longer route of importing it via proxy.
