In order to integrate the forum into my page tables I've changed the background color in the default_style.css file to black. That has the unfortunate result of turning the background color of the message forms to black.
I've fixed the problem for Netscape & mac users by altering the bgcolor= to a different string in the /includes/message_form.asp file.
My problem is that nothing I do seems to affect the text box in the IE_message_form file, which I take it needs to be changed in order for the text box to be usable by IE 5 and above.
Any thoughts?
