Forgive me if this is a VERY basic question but what do I need to modify to allow a registered user to edit their own post? I did search the forums but couldn't find any similar threads. Real newbie here...

I deleted from the other forum - sorry.

Let's start over.

Normal users have 20 minutes after posting in which they can edit or delete thier post.

Is there a way to extend that or make it available all the time?

Youi can increase the time somwhere in the common.asp file, but not make it to it is avialbale all the time.

The reason for this is that it was found that people would go back and edit or delete their post after replies had been made, it then made the replier look like they where a bit of an idiot as you couldn't see the question they where replying to.

LOL I can understand that. I guess I'll have to play a bit.

Thanks for the response.  I'm sure I'll be back.
