Last topic arrow not taking to last topic *2 issue

This is a weird one. On my forum i have a "paintball trader" and also sub forums under that for "markers" "masks" "gear" bla bla bla.

well the little gray arrow does not take them to the last post. or it does but the text does not reflect that...see below.

well when they click it it takes them to the topic:

You can check it out, go to http://www.ohiopbx.com and under paintball trader you will see the grey arrow.

Try upgrading to the latest version and see if that works better.

You may also find that if a post is made between the page loading and you clicking on the arrow it will take you to teh last post made in that forum, or sub forum if it has sub forums.

I see the problem now, you are using version 8 and 9 off the same database.

If you do this it will course such inconsistencies as the data is not updated correctly.

Version 8 did not display the last topic subject, so if you post in version 8 it will not update the data correctly in version 9, leading to inconsistencies in the database.

Once you start using version 9 use the Rsync Tool in the admin area to resync the version 9 data so that it displays the correct topic subject for the last post.
