Can anyone help me convert an Access DB to MS-SQL?  None of the imports seem to work from Enterprise Manager, and Access Upsizing wizard isn't installed for some reason.

Is there any tool to generate an SQL script to generate tables/records for an Access DB?  Or any easy way to convert it?  I can't be bothered to type out create scripts for all 25+ tables.

Thanks

what about making a replicar of the db, without records on the SQL server .

then use DTS to transfer the data over....

im not sure if that will work.

There are some mdb's that are very stobburn. You can add a database as a linked server to SQL so you'd just have to query it like
Select * from linkserver.table.field
Doing that in DTS then should be successful. If you don't have success, send me a PM. I'll help ya.

Thanks for the offer of help michael, might be contacting you soon.

Can't wait for the second version of my site to come out, I think a lot of visitors on 56k's leave before pages load, this version has much smaller pages.  I recently got my millionth session on drum-world!  coming up to my 3 millionth page view.

Pain in the ass to convert WWF posts/threads over to the forum I wrote!  Darn script is 300 lines long to bring authors/topics/replies over, and takes like 20 minutes to run to bring 2,500 members and 33,000 posts over.

WWF is waaayyy better than the forum I wrote, but it's nice to have a site I know I wrote in it's entirety.
