transfering skin from v8.03 to v9.03

Is there anyway of making the v9.03 forum look like my v8.03 skin...
My aim it to have the new improved v9 but with the look of my 8.03

i would assume all you need to do is re-create the skin using the new CSS file

then rename your images to .png, but you might need to recreate, edit some images

EG the "Post Reply" image, just remove the text and its pritty much done

This is an interesting thread.

Scotty, Can you please tell us what 'class' in the old CSS refers to that in the new? I mean 'class01' of the old oe should be 'classN' in the new one. If can be compared.

The new css file has a lot of classes. Can you specify for what section they are for? For helping a newbie like me?

im sorry i havent acctually looked at the CSS file properly, i mostly do mods not skins.

but i did import a custom page i made for V8 into V9 and it worked perfectly so i suspect the class names for V8 will be the same in V9 - just V9 will have new ones such as for the buttons

Hey, there is a skin for v9.03 and v9.04. In case you might like it. v9.04 is different than v9.03 as it has some new images.
