For secure reasons I move my mailing list database outside the root web. I had the admin create a DSN for it. they sent me the info as follows

DSN: db_theweb_com
Database Type: Access
Database Name: mailing_list.mdb

I know I need to comment out the other connection scripts in common.asp and the mailing_list_inc.asp but what exactally do I input to properly connect to my database?

Would appreciate the help I have tried several things with no luck at all.

They describe the connections strings. You just need to plugin your settings.
