hi;
i install WWF 7.95 but when i post message this message appears, despite the message confirmed. i took this error in posting email and PM. i cant understand why???? please help me!!! thanks

When you post a reply to a message, it tries to send an email to anyone
who has subscribed to the topic. Your email is either set up wrong in
the admin section or your host requires authentication.

i know i know i know. my server says it supports CDOSYS component. i choose CDOSYS from mail options in administration page but the error still appears. i cant understand why????
anyone knows whyyy???

The line the error is on is the line for CDONTS not CDOSYS, check in your admin section you have selected CDOSYS and not CDONTS

sure you must be right borg. i selected CDONTS first and soon my server said they support CDOSYS, so i change it to CDOSYS but another error appears like this:

i foumd the problem. i change 25 to 26 on line 160 (microsoft schemas line)
now i can send mail to one user, but when i try to send all users at admin menu an error appears like this. my asp is not good. i cant understand what it means.

It looks like your host has for some strange reason changed your SMTP server from the standard port 25 to port 160. Very odd.
Anyway, in the admin folder you will find the file
admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, you will need to update this
file as well.

When using CDOSYS you need to make sure that your smtp server is
entered correctly in the Email Configuration section and is recognized
by your system. I don't think that using a custom port should cause the
problem if your smtp server is configured or named properly.
You can check your smtp/dns settings for any errors by using Dig.exe
which can run a simple query for you. Just download the zip file and
open the executable to run a smtp check on any domain.
