I want to make secure my db access, where do I have to insert the string within the code.

I don't really understand you!

To make your Access database secure from the public follow these guidelines:

  • Rename the database (and change database name value variable in common.asp)
  • Move database to private folder outsite web pub direcrory

More detailed instructions in the documentation.

Gullanian, I have already done this, the thing I want to do now it is to assign a specific password to the database( I know  why I need to make this). What should I have to insert  in common.asp and in mailing_list_inc.asp to tell to ADO(word joke) the database with the password  that I want?Embarrassed
