Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to increase the number of messages that are viewable for both the inbox and outbox..?

Also, is there a way for users to export their messages to CSV..?

There is not a way in the current version to increase the number of private messages displayed on each page of the inbox/outbox.

CSV files are files that contain rows of data using commas for delimiters and not really suited for the exporting of private messages which could be very long in length.

They can be be exported but at the bottom of Private Messages there is the option 'Email this Private Message to myself'.

This can be used to send the message by email to yourself which you could then either store as an email or export from your email client if it allows.

OK many thanks... it was more a bulk export I was interested in so users can manage that themselves.

If you are willing to make changes to the pm_inbox.asp, then it is possible to change the number of messages displayed.

Simply change the line :

intPageSize = 10

To:

intPageSize = 100

To get a display of 100 messages at a time
