Users login to our site, and when they click on the forums link it feeds their password and ID and they go right into the forums.  Works great!  I get many compliments on seamless it is.  The problem is, it doesn't want to go back the other way.  I want the user to return to our site when he logs off, and instead, it just leaves him at the webwiz page, like he's getting ready to login in again.

My other problem is we don't want stars to show under members names.  I've gone into the group admininstratioin, and set show start to 0, but the now show up grayed out.

But I'd also like to know how you linked to your forum including the user's ID and Password.

Would you mind sharing how you do it?

1. Do a search here for member api

2. In the functions folder, the file functions_member_asp.asp, you have to modify the line below as well as let it know what your session variables you have created are.  The instructions are pretty clear.

Make sure that you have enabled the member API by setting the follwing to true:-

Const blnMemberAPI = True

if you want to go back to your website, just edit the log_off_user.asp file

and where it says:

response.redirect("..") just add your website page in their
S2H.co.uk - WebWiz Mods and Skins
