how abt 1W booster and lot of antenna.. my problem is that there is no electric power available so cant do the piggyback / adhoc setup

You might want to cjeck out the wifi forums at broadbandreports.com. Lots of expertise there. But I've got a feeling you may need something more than the typical SOHO router.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
