Are other operating system really that much safer from hackers?

Windows being the most used OS would mean hackers target them more as they wil have a greater affect on more people.

Is linex and others 100% secure or is it that the hackers don't bother as it will only affect a small % of users?

I have looked a FreeBSD and NetBSD but not OpenBSD.

It is quite likely that on a default install OpenBSD isnt running any server services and has the firewall in deny all mode.

That would explain why there has only been one hole in a default install.

More holes will start appearing once you add on any server services.
