I set up a facebook page for avianflutalk.com, but when people hit the like button, it doesn't appear to be working. 
 
In the admin console, is says:
 
Facebook Fan Page ID:
If you have a Fan or Company Facebook Page this is the Page ID to allow any Likes or Shares to be associated with your Facebook Page.
 
Where it asks for the ID, I put in the web address to my forum, such as; http://www.facebook.com/avianflutalk - www.facebook.com/avianflutalk 
 
Is that what it means by ID?  Or how do I get the Facebook ID? Isn't it the web address?

Your Facebook ID is a number not your facebook page name. A search online found this website which can get your Facebook ID:-

Excellent Bruce, much appreciated. 

My forum at avianflutalk has been very busy lately with the new bird flu outbreak in China, and with the new emerging SARS virus in Saudi Arabia and France, and all the members are very pleased about the recent forum upgrade.   

I added google translations at the top of the forum (flag icons) and it works good with regard to easily translating each page.  Although if you try to post a new mess or reply while using a different language, you can't post whatsover, but that's ok.
