If you have an smtp server running on the same PC where PWS is then the address should be 127.0.0.1

I'm not sure if PWS has an smtp server but I think it don't.

Are you sure you have an SMTP server running? If you do then it must not be configured correctly.

Installing PWS doesn't install a SMTP server - at least, it didn't for me.
