I've been messing around trying to come up with a SQL select statement to get the subject, forum name, post date (from subject) and the url for the subject but I haven't been able to come up with one.

Any help would be awesome!

If you are trying to include the latest posts in another page then have a look at the 'recent_forum_posts.asp' file in the 'extras' folder.

The ASP code can be updated with the URL to your forums RSS Feed and then included in another page to display the latest forum posts from your forum.

Okay, I'm going to take a different approach. My site is built in asp.net and it seems I'd have to convert the asp page to a .net control which I don't want to do. What I want to do is just write the recent posts to a .txt file. I can then just read in the .txt file in my asp.net code behind.

So what would be the ASP code to write the recent posts to a .txt file?

Never mind I got it to work, just had to get rid of the SET keywords and wrap the arguments in parentheses.
