At home:
1 x 19" @ 1600x1200 CRT
1 x 15" @ 1024x768 CRT

At work I have:
1 x 19" @ 1280x1024 CRT
1 x 19" @ 1152x864 CRT

I'm no longer capable of using just 1 monitor Smile, and often wonder how I managed with just one 15" at 800x600 before...

My problem with FF is that when I have so many tabs open, it chews up 100 or 200 MB of memory and starts to slow down. It's not bad while you're using it, but if you need to work elsewhere then come back, it takes a while to fire back up.

How are you working 3 monitors? What kind of cards are you using for that?

Right now I've got a KVM to switch computers and only 1 is hooked up with 2 monitors (limitation of the KVM). The video card on the computer with multiple monitors only permits 2. Would be nice to have a KVM that lets me use more than 1 monitor between the computers.

I just use a single passive kvm for switching to between the two windos boxes (xp and server 2K).

For the 4 unix boxes though I use a Vetra 4 port multi-headed KVM Switch. It supports 4 monitors in and 4 boxes out. I've got one 15" and one 17" monitor hanging off of it - both at 1024x768.

Primarily use those monitors for admin or output though. Still use the main windows box and monitor for unix development over the lan via an Xwindows client

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
