I have a question about the active_users.asp routine.

If I am logged on in IE under the superadmin name and then in FireFox as a general user, I cannot see the other in the active user list.

To be clear, superadmin cannot see general user and general user cannot see superadmin. Is it because I'm on one IP address or what?

This begs the question; who else am I not seeing?

yea, the active users uses the IP to locate you.

with regards to the other topic under this,

i think i have made it so that in Where are your users MOD admins override the annomonous feature and they see all users usernames.

That seemed like the next logical step. Wink

I'm trying to keep the source files as clean as possible so when v8 comes out I won't have troubles. 'bout to give up on that though and just do a better job of documenting my changes.

If anyone has a hint of a time line on v8, please PM me. I'm kinda hangin by a thread here.

I really don't want to spend a bunch of time writing stuff that the WebWiz extraordinaire is already fixing... I have this strange feeling I would end up  slapping myself on the forehead and saying, "I should'a had a V-8." Big smile Cool

LOL LOL (For all you EU folks, that's a commercial reference to V-8 vegetable juice.) LOL
