I hear the big deal just over the horizon is the new Visual Studios 2005 that's due to come out. It's going to have a lot of templates and things included, like a portal and forums??? and stuff like that, and somehow you can implement such things with just a few lines of code (I think it's said two-thirds less code than the previous version) and plus there are skins included and automatic support for the various browsers. For that I think the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 will go to version 2.0. The latest pre-release version is a couple of gigs I'm told.
