is there anyway around not being able to use the active users on access 2000 for fear of database screwing up,any add on or mods that i may have missed seeing,its a feature that members love and have already complained about in my test version?

here's hopeing,but that said i still think version 7 is the mutts nuts,thanks borg!

If your forum worked OK in version 6 with the active users enabled it maybe worth actvating it from the admin area in version 7.

But as access doesn't fully delete entries from the database your database will slowly get larger and larger and performance will suffer. Also many people found that on busy boards access simply can't cope with the amount of updates required leading to the database becoming corrupted.
