I recently converted to Mozilla, and now to me it's pretty obvious that
IE just doesn't compete. I reckon everyone should convert :)

Yes and no. For some stuff IE is still better, especially when it comes to controls that you use (3rd party). As IE is till the most widespread Browser most are optimized for it. I don't think the question is whether to use Mozilla or IE, they all should get their act together and agree on a standard on how stuff is supported....a standard not by MS or whomever but by w3c.... I know I know there is, thus no Browser Vendor seems to care.

Mozilla Firefox is my favorite, but IE is still the most used and only
supported browser in som cases, so sometimes I have to use IE too

Develop for IE and then make sure it either works/degrades gracefully for the other browsers. Real PITA.

I converted to Mozilla Firebird at the end of last year and must agree
with Gullanian I think the extra features the better speed, etc. do
make it much better than IE.
I very occasionally on a few sites have to revert back to IE (like
Microsofts update site), but not very often, maybe once every few weeks.
If the site is not an important site and it trys to make me use IE,
then often I don't even bother vewing the site, so it is worth making
sure that if you have a site that it runs in browsers other than IE.

The one thing that I hate about Mozilla though is the CSS
background-color doesn't work so lots of web pages have white
backgrounds! Grrr
