Dear webmaster:

Thanks for your webwizforums, which is great value to me.
Days ago, I started the program and found it's really a nice program.
When I have a test in my LAN, I tried to set the default show topics with "All" in stead of "from the last month", so I went to /display_forum_topics.asp and set the default dropdown list box as "All", I thought it would be all right when I open it in the client computer, but it is still "from the last month", what a pity. Is there something wrong with my operation?
What should I do if I want to make my goal??? Waiting for your reply...

its in the adminarea forum_admin, you can set the default view on a per forum base.

look for:

Show Topics in the Last:
This is the time span to show topics within when displaying topic lists in the forum.

I failed again while follow your step.

Could you give me a more detailed explaination on it.

I have changed the dropdown list box's value as TxtAll, and saved. But the next time I start the forum, it rolled back again as From The Last Month default.

Judging by the name of teh file you are using an old version of the forum, if you upgrade to the latest version you can select when setting up the forum to show all topics in that forum by default.
