In VB how easy is it to create a binary file?  As in, specify every bit that is in the file individually?

I'm trying to construct a bitmap file using a feed of information such as size and image data, but I can't find anywhere on how to make a binary file.

.net or VB6? in .net you can simply use the BinaryWriter to create your file. Not sure how you do it in legacy VB though.
