Hello. I've downloaded the files from the link below and the email is not working. After loading the contact.htm page on my server and pressing submit I get the following error. Any ideas?

The page cannot be displayed

There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

Please try the following:

  • Open the <> Homepage(); home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
  • Click the refresh.gif 82 bytes Refresh button, or try again later.
  • Click search.gif 114 bytes Search to look for information on the Internet.

OK. Thank you, I have that set up correctly now.

I am now getting this error '80070003'

Any ideas? My administrator said SMTP is set up correctly. Should I have him check again?

It would help if you posted the whole error, and also the few lines of code where you are getting the error.

But, I think that error means that you have a path that is incorrect.

/webforum/forum/email/E-mail Form 2/send_email.asp, line 70

line 69 & 70 from the code:
69   'Send the e-mail
70   objCDOMail.Send

Well, I found this article, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q238 956, but it states that the problem is with the IIS metabase, and you would have to contact the server administrator for that.

I can't guarantee that's the problem, but its all i found.
