Hi !

I have had some serious problems the last week with the Forums program... The main problem is that someone got my administrator password (i don't know how) and they put some message of the "hacked by lalala" type all over the forums...

The matter is that they also of course changed the administrator password (it would be great if there was some kind of system not available in the web so an specified e-mail address could get the new administrator password if it changes). The main problem was when i downloaded the database... It doesn't load in my Access 2000... I upgraded to version 7.0 database (with the migration tool) but it doesn't load...

I don't know why... I have installed latest MDAC's (2.7) and reinstalled Access but it doesn't work... Someone knows what could happen ??? Do i need something ?

Thanks a lot in advance

Greetings,

I had the same problem with someone getting access to the Administrator account (hacked by Walad). I believe on my part it was due to not changing the database name and someone with some simple knowledge of the forum downloading it via HTTP. I can accept the fact that I was stupid for not changing the database name, but I too need to access the database to reset the Administrator account and at least salvage user accounts. I am having problems opening the database in Access, I get an "Unrecognized database format" error. I am using Access 2000.

Thanks for any help.

Thank you for the quick response. I did get access to the database via a text editor and retrieved the changed password. I also plan to upgrade to version 7.

Excellent product, my hat goes off to all the developers!
