    Posted: 26 March 2005 at 9:10pm
Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me to find a code or command to mask my url. E.g. www.example.co.uk/example1234/123/index.htnl

To: www.example .co.uk

I was wondering if I could do this to my whole site??

Any help?

Unless I'm wrong there is no way via code or commands you can completely hide your URL. You could frame your site, but that has it's own issues sometimes.

You can do this in .NET somehow, but I don't know exactly how it's done.

It's called URL rewriting, search google for "URL rewriting in asp.net" basically in global.asax (or a http module/handler) you can use Response.RewriteUrl or something like that to reprocess the request at that url
