hi there, brand new to the forum, cant find a file to edit, to change the welcome text content which is auto emailed to a new member who has signed up!

Look in the language_file_inc.asp, just find the line that need to be edit.

thanks esquif, looked thru those files but cant find anything which relates to the confirmation emails which go out  one of the test emails i did follows::

You don't need to edit any text directly.

The problem is that you haven't fully setup the forum, go to the admin area and click on the 'forum cofiguration' link and place in the details of your own forum, ie. your sites name and your forums name.

This will then change the text in your email.
