	Then you have set it up wrong, or use a different forum package, try sntiz forums.

	Don't worry - I won't be goign to snitz. It's no biggy though. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone had any ideas.

	just an fyi, i'm using 7.01 and just tested out access to a specific group using both Generic Forum Permissions and Private Groups and did not have any problems restricting access.
