I am upgrading from 6.34 to 7.01 and have a MSSQL database. Will all the post from the old forum still be there when I upgrade (I know, stupid, question, I just have to be sure ). Something that worries me is I have made some forums (or rooms I rather call it) called A, B, C etc. Do I have to make these rooms again or will Ver. 7.01 somehow detect them when I upgrade and the posts will still be there, in the right room?

Is there some things I really should know before I upgrade tomorrow? Users at my forum will be really pissed if ... well, thanks for any practical advice on this matter.

There is no official upgrade script for the SQL server version, but if you search the forum there as many people who have posted on how they upgraded, also there maybe an upgrade script written by someone if you look in the mods forum.

Translated it means: "No, it will not be straight forward"? Sorry for asking, I just want to know what to expect. I will loose all posts in the old forum when I upgrade to 7.01?

The SQL upgrade is possible and not too difficult. See this: http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=2870&PN=1&TPN=2
