First let me explain how I govern my site.  If anyone uses the F word in anyway they will receive a one week suspension no questions asked!  We do send them an email of them suspension and why.  If it happens again its 2 weeks 3rd time they are ban.  My forum is a sports forum so yes, it can get heated.

I would like away to suspend a user just by going to their profile and see a suspension pull down option that has numbers 0-14.  Once we chose say 7 days and click submit it will auto lift the suspension in 7 days.  This option would be for both Admins and Mods, however if a ban is needed then only Admin can do it.  This maybe eaiser to input a date and or a time box as the suspension options.

The other items I was wondering if can be done is to flag a post either by email to Mod & or Admin? Or some other means of flagging words that has been filtered.  such as b word, dumb b and so on?  We don't allow this type of behavior

Unfortunately, there's no scheduler in ASP - so the date will never be seen...........
Data is only pulled and shown when asked for at that moment, so a date won't "do" something there's no trigger.
Not a bad idea, just don't think it's "doable".

Another way around this is to have 4 boxes on the user profiles 3 for date Month, day, year.  4th box is a place to say why.   Now when they try to log in the login will check the username pass and suspention.  if they are suspended they will see they are suspened and see why as well.

the date part of the asp well look like this

todaysdate = date()

Suspend_end_date = info pulled from database   this is the asp date formate I think. #5/20/2010#

if suspend_end_date < todaysdate then suspend = 1 and is sent to the suspend page.
if suspend_end_date > todaysdate then suspend = 0 and they go on to the forum and all is happy.

And as for the flaging part I am looking for a way to find who and where the post is at with out searching for it.

I think this would be a lot of work web city to sort out, and quite a bit involved.
