Thanks Zadax, it's the 2 cells above and below where the post appears on the right I'm trying to change, so I get the effect of a white background for the post but a wider border top and bottom I probably didn't say it very clearly .

Thanks Pam that means ssssoooo much to me! lets just say I've not been to bed before 4 am for a few nights and without the help form the great people on here I'd have given up after an hour!
