These features have not been taken off the to-do list as they are completed, apart from a few things to finish with the new blogging tools.
These features will be in version 10 as they require database changes, but most of the other changes planned for version 10 have found their way into version 9.x . Below are just some the new features that have been included in version 9 since it's release:-

- DoS Protection from SQL Injection Viruses
- Admin and Moderator Email Notification of Topic/Posts awaiting approval
- Increased the Number of Private Messages a Member can receive to 10,000
- Image and file uploading support for Private Messaging
- WYSIWYG Post Editor support for Apple Safari and Google Chrome
- Improved Search Tool with the addition of Search by IP and Search for Topics started by a particular member
- Improved Error Handling, no-longer will your members see
a white error screen if email notifications fail to be sent when they
make a post.
- Animated Progress Bar for File and Image Uploads
- Added Social Bookmarking - Google, Digg, StubleUpon, Facebook, MySpace, etc.
- New 'Go To First Unread Post' link at the top of Topics that contain new unread Posts
- Added
more visible links to show you how many new unread Posts there are

- Bad Word Filter now supports Regular Expressions for more accurate detection of Obscene Words or unwanted content
- Improvements to security including improvements XCSRF and XSS protection
- New Web Wiz CAPTCHA version 4 that now creates CAPTCHA images on the fly
- Image and File uploading increased maximum size to 30MB
- Detection of iPhone, iPod, and Google Chrome web browsers
- Plus loads more minor bug fixes and improvements
