Hi,

I'd appreciate if someone might be able to let me know how to change the GroupID for different members through the admin section.  Is this based on individual forums, or can members be added to become administrators?

in admin section click membership admin, then click username to edit, it takes you to their profile, but at the bottom of the profile their admin options such as changing group or adding special title.
I'm a wannabe programmer that knows how to do nothing but create invalid procedure arguments.

Yep, I've got that if I want to add them as a moderator or admin.  What about if I want to add them as a different group member (i.e. I've set up my own group types).

Please advise.

membership admin,when in there profile you can choose the group that you have created in the dropdown menu.

Can you guys tell me.. I have seen that field for the "special title".. but am afraid to use it.. does it change their member status?  or can I have a member who has "newbie status" but have a special title like.. "exercise challenger"..  where will it show up, and will they still show up as Newbies too?

Ha.. never mind.. I just got up the nerve to try.. and found out!

guess I don't know why I was nervous.. but anyway.. it's exactly what I needed!  I am glad I tried!! I can't wait to start naming my members!!
