If a user does not log out how long doe the cookie stay on the system (1 year) and does it cause any database errors?
If staying logged in when not online does not cause any problem to teh database is the logout button necessary for anything else? I know it is necessary if a forum shows who is in the form at any time but my forums are set up not to show that detail anyway so I am wondering it would be easier to just get rid of teh logout button.
That way, users can stay loged in and dont need to relog in next day when they come online.
Have I missed any problems from doing this?
