you are trying to insert a string into a Date or number field in the DB or vice versa. Did you modify the code?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Ask you admin hosting what type of setup has the server (regional setting), and use this code into the common.asp ( on root forum and admin/forum)

'Set the date time format to your own if you are getting a CDATE error
'Session.LCID = 1036 ' French
'Session.LCID = 1033 ' English USA
'Session.LCID = 2057 ' English UK
'Session.LCID = 11274 ' Spanish Argentina
'Session.LCID = 1034 ' Spanish Traditional
