Compact and Repair Access Database


Control Panel Menu

From here you can Compact and Repair the Access database used for the Forum making the database size smaller and the forum perform faster.
This feature can also repair a damaged or corrupted database.

  1. Database backed up to:-
    d:\www\alltomtrav.info_a8yd7z0g66\public_html\db\wwForum-backup.mdb

    2. Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e17'

    Database already exists.

Unfortunately this is not support on all servers.

You may find you need to download your Access database, open it in Microsoft Access and compact  and repair it there, before re-uploading back to the server.
