It looks like your Access database has become corrupted.

Download the Access database, open it in Access, and use the Compact and Repair Tool to fix the database.

These types of corruption issues are common with Access and you may want to look at upsizing to SQL Server for better performance and reliability.

It is hard to say as there are different ways of doing and different ways of doing.

Often when we do this for customers moving to our hosting services it can take between 20 minutes and 3 hours to do, depending if any schema is dropped or don't have the correct datatypes or wrong constraints.

Hosting customers get both phone support and a ticket system. We do not offer a live online chat type support as found in the past that this tended to slow down fault finding as people tend to give very short quick replies rather than a more detailed response people give in support tickets that allow support staff to more quickly identify any problems and give more fuller accurate answers.

Our Hosting Solutions, as well as being able to upsize the database from Access to SQL Server 2008, also include the latest Premium Edition of Web Wiz Forums and free updates. Also any issues with your forum are dealt with much quicker as support staff are able to look directly at your forum installation to find any problems. This is why companies like Microsoft and PriceWaterHouse Coopers host forums with us as it's much easier and cheaper for them having us manage the technical side for them.

As to your forum error without being able to dig into your system it's hard to say what the fault maybe as this is an usual error. The first I would try is re-uploading the files again incase a corrupted file is the course of the issue. Also make sure you have upgraded the database from version 7.x to version 9.x and not trying to run an old version 7.x database with version 9.x

I found that I can have a host for the forum with around 7#/month which suits me as It is not for profit forum  i.e teaching and free consultation to help others.

My forum is in arabic and english as i receive both arabic and english questions and need to keep the forum as it is with the same connections but i think using mssql or mysql is much better and specially registration of patient as the main problem i am facing now is that patients can not register int he current forum.
if i Register for the starter forum host would it better to use msql or mysql??
how can we transfer the database so that to keep all the information and design?? database is 30MB
shall we keep the overall design of the website including the forum as it is or changes will be made in the shape of the website??
How long it take to restor the forum working online?

please forgive me, as i am not professional in networking but as a professor in obstetrics and gynecology i see that it is better for me to control things to be able to help patient in a quick way
I will be grateful if you answer my questions and have a look at  www.arabicobgyn.net  to give me your advice.
thank you for your support

The database would need to be upsized to SQL Server as mySQL uses a very different schema, this can be done for you and would just need your present Access database. We find SQL Server much more reliable and able to handle larger forums than mySQL can.

Without knowing more information about your present forum and website it would be hard to advise you.

If you would like to send us an email from the link below then should be able to advise you better and discuss the best options and migration for you:-
