New to all of this...pls help

Ok so heres the deal.  I have downloaded the free forum for access database.  I work at an isp so someone here created the dsn for me and had me move the database.  So as far as I know that part is correct.  Now Im looking at the common.asp files and think I changed the codeing correctly.  (hmm)

Now the directions say to point your browser to where your forum is, now Im stumped.  Dont know what file that is cause when I point it to the wwforum.mdb file it asks if you want to download the file.

I know Im doing something wrong any help would be much appreciated!!  Thanks

Use a DSN-less connection to the database as it is much faster.

Also you should place the database outside of the root of your web site in a private folder on the server so that a hacker can not download your database.

To run the forum you point yopur web broser at the folder containing the forum, not at the database.
