The best thing I can suggest is that you contact the
sales department directly and then I'm sure Bruce will be able to sort this for you. When I transferred from 1&1 to Web Wiz I had a similar situation which required bringing across the database too
All I can say is Bruce was absolutely wonderful at helping me through the process. A word of caution though for you - when closing down your 1&1 account - be careful how to navigate the process as their shut down procedure is not made simple - This is

Change providerIf you would like your domain to be maintained by another provider (and only then), you must select this
option. The change is effected differently for every TLD (Top Level Domain, e.g.: .com). If you choose
this option, we will automatically acknowledge a transfer request by another provider
How I worked it through with Bruce when I did was I cancelled the domain first, got that away and over to Web Wiz, then when I was happy everything was up and running, I then pulled the plug on the contract
