Private Messanger problems

	Greetings.... I am using Web Wiz on my website. My users and myself are constantly getting pop-ups indicating new incoming private messages. when clicked there is no new unread messages in the inbox. This is starting become serious aggervation to all... I thougt since there is no apparent option to delete read outgoing messages they would be deleted automatically. I now have 8 pages of messages in my out box, of which most are marked as read. Could the remainding read messages in the outbox be causing the inbox messages problem. Sometime if a user turns off email notification to post replies, they are denied access the next time they login... Pleasea advise Donald

	It sounds as if some of the files got corrupted, try reuploading them (in this case, the pm_(whatever).asp files are the ones in question). The messages in your outbox will disappear when the user you sent them to deletes them from their inbox. Blair

	I re-installed the software but the problem was not resolved. I still get notices of new pm's but they are not shown in the inbox. Additionally, turning off email notification for forum topics does not seem to stop the email from being sent to users... I can turn them off at the Admil level but user defined profile settings do not... I want to register this software but not until I can resolve these problems... Any cluse what to try now ????
