Hi I have a problem with the forum showing everythread and post as being locked by forum admin unless the person is logined in as a member.

I have set allow guest to post in admin, and the threads and post are not locked, I had a look at the database and the locked fields where unticked. When testing on localhost it is fine, live on server I have this problem.

Forum is version 6.34
Server is: IIS 6.0 with Window 2003 Server (http://www.webhost4life.com)

Where did you get an old version like that from???

Try using the latest version 7.01 which has many more features, is much more secure, and has much more powerful permisisons system.

On your 6.34 board it will be a permssions problem, but as it's been about a year or so since I used that version and not having a copy of it anymore I can't remeber how permisions where set in that version.

I've had the old one for sometime now.

I downloaded the 7.01 version yesterday when visiting this forum. I liked all the improvments so I'll upgrade this weekend. Great product BTW!
