I had a member that has been helping me to ferret out problems on the forums. He tried to upload an avatar image and received a 500 error message. (See my other post regarding the uploading problem.)
After that he tried to post the bug report and received the following message:
You cannot post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You cannot edit your posts in this forum
You cannot create polls in this forum
You cannot vote in polls in this forum
He then went to other forums and received the same message. So he logged off, cleared the cookies then tried to re-log on and was refused access entirely saying that he did not exist.
I checked the registered member list and he is still there. I checked the db to see if it became corrupted and that was fine.
What's up? What went wrong with his access?
