cryptic error message

thanks for all the help trying to solve my brinkster
prob, but i moved the board to 1asphost.com where
its working fine at the mo
i might move it back to a paid brinkster account
sometime in the future, but at the moment its
running like a dream :)

theres only one problem, i downloaded a skin file,
and after uploading it to my site i got this printed
along the top of any pages i opened:

skin_file.asp?ççp?ççpmBINÇÅ¡1

it stayed even after i uploaded the original default
skin file in its place

any ideas what might be causing it?

right, thanks

im guessing if i back up my database and otherwise
install the forum afresh, i wont lose anything... is that
right?
