Okies it was an ODBC problem which after trying to solve for a few hours i gave up and deleted all the forum.
I set up a new mssql database and now the darn thing wont recognise my login when i try to use server_setup.asp. I'm definitely using the correct login details and i've repeatedly checked the database_connections.asp and alls good there but still I get :

Detailed Error Message:
Login failed for user 'misbehavin'.

Error Details:
Login failed for user 'misbehavin'.

I'm now at a total loss.

I've had a look and seems to be working fine for me.

Make sure that you do not delete the built in Admin and Guest accounts and groups or you will have issues like some you mention.

Also if you run multiple Web Wiz Forums installations on the same website you need to edit the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file in notepad and set different cookie and application veriable prefixes so that the forums do not interfer with each other.
